The chosen are brought to a town on a deserted Island. The town, surrounded by a brick wall, is split into two parts, divided by magical barriers. An alley lies between the two separate areas of the town; this is known as ‘no mans land’ and belongs to neither Good or Evil. It’s mutual ground.
One part of the town is inhabited by the forces of good, the other by the forces of evil. People get drawn to the side of the town they belong to. Every character however has a choice. Just because one side brought the character to this new world doesn't mean the character can't change sides. Evil is always willing to corrupt more people whilst good is willing to forgive.
Normally the magical barriers around the town are there to keep people from crossing to the other side but sometimes people still manage to get through. For those who are uncertain about their allegiance it is easier to walk through the barriers than it is for those who are confident in their choice. Those who have changed sides before and characters that have a certain nature can also cross the barrier without much trouble. Vampires for example are said to be creatures of evil, so Vampires who fight for the good side would easily be able to walk into the evil part of town.

Both side of the town look identical.
1. the living quarters (it is similar to a hotel). Every character gets a room or small flat that is filled with personal possessions. The room looks similar to the characters room or flat back home. All characters find a welcome letter in their room, which explains that they have been hcosen to fight in the final war. The main entrance of the building leads into the reception hall. There is a desk with a book that lists all room numbers and the names of the people living in them. On one wall there is a huge map, showing the town. On another is a board with announcements (guard duty list, work shedules, announcements of meetings, announcements of self defense lessons,...).
2. school, medical & research building: - 4. floor: military offices, conference room, science labs, computer room - 3. floor: big library, comfortable rooms for research, magic classroom, storage room for magical objects - 2. floor: medical area / hospital wing - 1. floor: gym, fitness room, weapons storage room, shooting range - basement: the basement is the only part of the town that is different on each side. Both sides do have holding cells for prisoners. In addition the good side has questioning rooms for the prisoners, the evil side prefers torture rooms.
3. Mall: clothing stores, grocery, hair dresser, imbiss & lots of other shops
4. Restaurant
The restaurant has a huge buffet throughout the whole day and night. It seems to just be there whenever someone enters. It is full of delicious food. Everything a character would love to eat is there, as if the buffet knew what the person wants to eat. Next to the buffet is a long table full of drinks. The characters find everything they want to drink as well.

Surrounding area
The town is placed in the middle of woods. Within the woods are a few rivers, a bubbling brook and two small lakes. The woods lead to the mountains at the north and south ends of the island. There are waterfalls and caves in the mountainsides. To the east and west are the coasts, with long sandy beaches.
Apart from nature and animals there is nothing around the town.
