I'm not going to worry about Jake until later; I'm having a harder time with his RP sample anyway. For PBs I think I'm going to use Nigel Bennett for the Visser...I always thought he reminded me of the actual actor who played the Visser lol. And he's a mean bad guy. How did you hear about this rpg? multi_fandom I believe Character Information Name: Prince Nuada, Silverlance Fandom: Hellboy II: The Golden Army PB: Luke Goss journal: prince_nuada powers: Extremely talented swordsman, nature related magic (growing things, etc), telepathy by touch, and the ability to determine a person's lineage on sight. Relationships: Family: Nuada killed his father after being sentenced to death. He has a rather unrequited love/lust relationship with his sister, Nuala. Archnemesis: Hellboy. He also has several "pets" -- beings that relay information to him. For any race considered to be "Children of the Earth" (fae, goblins, trolls, elves, etc) he considers to be both allies and his people. Friendships: Troll/bodyguard/servant Wink. Sexuality: Nuada has only loved one person in his entire life: Nuala, his sister. He has never had relationships with any other females, though he has waited quite a long time to have her. In that time, he has had sex with other men, purely in a "warriors finding comfort" way. Strengths: Determined, loyal, constantly thinking of his people, intelligent and creative. Weaknesses: Vindictive, Nuala, prone to physical violence, confident to the point of arrogance, tends to hold a grudge. Personality: Born to wise King Balor, Nuada spent most of his life living in his father's shadow, the unruly son to a wise king. During the first war with the humans (children of men) Nuada wanted the humans to be utterly destroyed. When his father refused to do this and instead made peace with the humans, Nuada chose exile over what he saw as disgrace. He hates humans with a passion that borders on obsession, and wishes to see them all dead, for he believes there is a hole in their hearts that can never be filled until they've consumed the whole world. To those he loves though, he is ceaselessly loyal and underneath the hatred of humans is a very real pain for his people, who have suffered and died as humans have grown and evolved as a species. What was your character doing before they arrived on the island? He had just declared war on the humans by delivering a case full of "tooth fairies" bearing the royal seal. In pursuit of the crown that would control the Golden Army, he killed his father and is currently hunting his sister to gain her piece of the crown. Hi Rei! Thanks a lot for your application. There are a few things I'd like to talk to you about. I've watched Buffy & Angel, so I'm familiar with the fandom. I never noticed anything that indicated that the sun had less of an effect on Angel after he went to the monks. He's a vampire and in the Buffy/Angel fandom there doesn't seem to be a way for a vampire to become resistant to the sun. Well, apart from the ring Angel had in season 1. But that was destroyed. Is it correct that your Angel would be canon up to the end of Angel season 4 and AU after that? Season 5 never happened, instead Angel left LA and traveled the world? About your sample. Does Angel arrive at night? It's not really clear to me and because you wrote the sun doesn't affect him that much anymore it could be that you let him arrive in the afternoon for example. Not sure what your intentions were here, but I don't think Angel would survive arriving during the day, no matter what time it was. Do you have any other writing samples of Angel? Your writing definitely is good. But I can't really tell from that sample if your Angel is in character. From what I remember of Angel he would more likely try to find out what was going on than wanting a drink. But this could be different because your Angel is partly AU. So, do you have a sample for canon Angel? Something that would happen within the series, so that I can tell if Angel is written in character? Betty (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Hey! Yeap, Angel does arrive at night. Sorry I was a little vague with that >_< Well I actually realised that I made a typo in the application. Its not that he's completely invulnerable to the sun, but more so that he doesn't necessarily catch fire and turn into a crisp within a few moments. (Admittedly, moments after I submitted my application, I realised how stupid that sounded even to myself. Perhaps a little un-thought out. Maybe a little too excited to RP.) I did turn Angel a little AU, because I didn't really like the way Season 5 was being played out. :x He is very different, to an extent which I wasn't sure would be acceptable... The real problem for me right now is... I haven't reacquainted myself with the Buffy/Angel series for several years now, and my memory is a little rusty. I love the characters, although my take on them is probably slightly (or severely) skewed from the original. I don't really have any canon samples for Angel at the moment, but I will try working on one... Hi! Sorry, I haven't been able to catch you on aim so far. I've been sick a few days and after that I didn't see you on aim. It seems to be rather sunny in the game so far. And vampires are usually a bit different in other fandoms, so people might expect something different, if they don't know Twilight. Character Information Name: Doctor Jennifer Keller Fandom: Stargate Atlantis PB: Jewel Strait journal: jenniferkeller powers: She doesn't have any supernatural powers, but she's an excellent doctor. allegiance: Good Relationships: Due to schooling, Jennifer hasn't had a lot time for relationships. Shortly after coming to Atlantis, she ended up being trapped in the infirmary with Ronon Dex. The two became close because of it, but never dated. Friendships: Jennifer considers herself close friends with Ronon Dex and Rodney McKay. She also has spent some time with Teyla, and considers John Sheppard a friend, too. She likes to spend time with Carson Beckett since both of them are doctors, and she believes she has learned a lot of things from him. Sexuality: Straight Strengths: Jennifer's main strength is her knowledge of medicine. She prides herself on being able to help the people around her, and keeping them healthy.
